Flags Across America ceremony


A sixty foot flag

The flag is sixty feet long.


Reenactors represent many periods of history

Giant flag is prepared under the watch of reenactors wearing authentic uniforms from the Second Seminole Wars to the Korean War. In the foreground we see General Joseph (fighting Joe) Wheeler of the American expedition to Cuba in 1898, aka George Moor, astride 'Spock'.
